The Leisure Showcase is held twice annually, in Spring (generally the end of the March) and Fall (always the weekend after the labour day weekend in September) and hosts in the neighbourhood of 70 to 75 community groups offering recreation and leisure activities for the upcoming season. The showcase highlights sports, fitness, aquatics, health, and outdoor recreation programs, city services, fundraising programs and events, and much more!

We have ongoing demonstrations of various activities ( dance, gymnastics, music, martial arts, etc), free samples, draws at many of the booths, and most groups do registration on the spot! Its your one stop shopping trip for all your recreational needs, and best of all, admission is free. Whether you are a child, a teen, a parent or a grandparent, the showcase is the place to go to find out what your community has to offer.

New residents will leave with a better appreciation of the vibrancy of this community that is Kingston and non profit and commercial groups will get their message out to over 3,000 people throughout the weekend.
