Info:

Located in the Ann Baillie Building, the Museum of Health Care contains Medical, surgical, and laboratory instruments used in the diagnosis and treatment of patients in the 19th and 20th centuries.

Our primary goal at the Museum is to preserve material culture and enhance understanding of the history of health and health care in Canada.

The Museum is a safe haven for more than 27,000 artifacts, including medical, surgical, and laboratory instruments, commemorative objects, and patient care items. Individuals and institutions donated the artifacts in the various collections, which date from the late 18th century to the present.

The collection can be searched on this website or Artefacts Canada . Over 6,000 artefacts in the Museum's collection have been digitally photographed.
